Storybook Design

The Rose Garden, an immersive cocktail bar located in Phoenix, transports its guests into a fable written by the design team at Scottsdale, Arizona-based House of Form, a boutique hospitality design firm that specializes in creating memorable spaces and meaningful experiences.

The design tells the story of villagers who flock to see a beautiful rose garden each year, only to be surprised by the beauty of a peacock. The rose garden and peacock fight for the attention of the villagers, while guests decide who wins during their culinary experience.

The peacock is perched atop the bar in a cage-like light fixture that is surrounded by a rose garden. There are subtle nods to the peacock and roses throughout, on the eclectic wallpaper, throughout the vintage gallery wall, and on the custom petal-like seat cushions.

Surrounded by a busy city, the space feels tranquil and peaceful as guests arrive. The big drum fixtures above the custom booths create a sense of intimacy. Brought to guests by the same team at 36 Below, the cocktail menu is floral-heavy, experimental, and seasonal.
