 DESIGNERS ON DESIGN

A brand-new series presented by ROOM, ‘Designers on Designers’ puts the industry’s sharpest minds in conversation with one another, because no one gets a designer quite like another designer.

In its debut episode, premiered at ICFF, Architectural Digest Pro and ELLE Decor A-List designer Ghislaine Viñas and Rodolfo Agrella, Founder and Creative Director of RADS, discuss how their personal upbringings in South Africa and Venezuela, respectively, have shaped their unique design philosophies and why color should never be feared.

Season Two of “In the ROOM” Kicked Off at ICFF 2025—A Conversation About Work, Life, and Design

In recent years, OFS has evolved beyond its roots in soft contract furnishings, emerging as a leading voice in the design world. Through its media arm “Imagine a Place,” which is a print magazine, long-form video series, and podcast network, the company has built a platform that explores how design shapes the way we work and live.

One of its most compelling offerings is “In the ROOM”, a podcast series in partnership with the leading voice in modular architecture, ROOM, that brings listeners into intimate conversations with some of the brightest minds in design and culture. Now, as the show enters its second season, it’s tackling one of the most pressing conversations of our time: the evolution of work.

Wesley Edmonds, Host of In the ROOM and Director of Workplace at OFS

Meet Wesley Edmonds, Host of “In the ROOM”

At the helm of “In the ROOM” is Wesley Edmonds, a seasoned strategist who has spent years studying the intersection of business, creativity, and workplace culture. With a natural ability to draw out deep, thought-provoking insights, Edmonds transforms each episode into more than just an interview—it’s an exploration of ideas that challenge the status quo.

“I’ve always believed that work isn’t just about what we do—it’s about how we live,” says Edmonds. “Design plays a fundamental role in shaping our experiences, and through “In the ROOM”, we’re looking at how the changing nature of work influences the spaces we create and the cultures we build.”

Recorded in real-time from the show floor at ICFF from ROOM’s award-winning soundproof office pods, the podcast captures raw, unfiltered discussions with designers, thought leaders, and creatives who are shaping the future of work.

“There’s something powerful about being in the moment—hearing spontaneous ideas take shape right there on the show floor,” says Edmonds. “I’m excited to guide these conversations and give listeners a front-row seat to the creativity and innovation happening in real-time.”

Season Two: Redefining Work, Culture, and the Spaces Between

The way we work has undergone a radical transformation in recent years. From hybrid schedules to reimagined office spaces, businesses and designers alike are navigating new expectations and shifting priorities. Season Two of “In the ROOM” dives into this evolution, bringing listeners candid conversations with the people leading the charge.

This season, Edmonds sits down with visionaries who are challenging traditional workplace norms—architects designing for flexibility, workplace strategists rethinking culture, and creatives exploring the intersection of work and life. Topics will range from the psychology of workplace belonging to the rise of hospitality-inspired office design and the role of technology in shaping collaboration.

Where Work and Life Intersect

At its core, “In the ROOM” recognizes that work and life are deeply connected. The spaces we inhabit influence how we think, collaborate, and even define success. As social and cultural shifts continue to reshape our personal lives, they inevitably impact the way we approach work.

“We’re seeing a movement toward human-centered design in every aspect of our lives, and the workplace is no exception,” Edmonds explains. “This season, we’re asking big questions: How do we create spaces that truly support people? How do companies foster cultures that prioritize connection and creativity? And how does design shape the way we live and work?”
