We’re excited to announce the launch of Emerging Designers Spotlight Live, which we have expanded to be open to any emerging designer ready to take their work to the next level.
Emerging Designers Spotlight (EDS) Live is a vibrant stage presentation featuring groundbreaking projects from rising talents.
Imagine rapid-fire mini critiques combined with professional speed networking. On the Mainstage at ICFF, May 17, 2026, the five selected designers will present their work to a distinguished panel of Industry Pros, receiving insightful feedback under pressure.

Introducing the Emerging Designers Spotlight Online.
This year, the Emerging Designers Spotlight expands into a year-long editorial series. Each month, 3–5 emerging designers will be featured in an EDS ICFF story, highlighting discoveries from Launch Pad studios, international trips, student showcases, and more. The series provides ongoing media exposure and industry visibility, culminating with the live Emerging Designers Spotlight on stage at ICFF in May.
Chay Costello
Chay Costello directs Merchandising and Product Development at The Museum of Modern Art. With over 20 years at MoMA, she has held roles in product development and buying and championed notable projects including the limited edition suite for the 2017 exhibition “Items: Is Fashion Modern?” the 2019 “Good Design Lab” and the MoMA Design Store feature of “Design Innovations for Women” in 2020. Her primary focus areas include Good Design history, the history of retail at MoMA, Design for Women, Sustainability, and Technology in Design. She also leads an annual design challenge with SVA’s Products of Design.
Host: Amy Devers
Amy Devers is a designer, fabricator, media producer, and educator known for her work across television, podcasts, and design. With an MFA in Furniture Design from RISD and a rich background in custom fabrication and interiors, she has hosted several design-focused TV series and contributed to Emmy-winning programs. She is the Creator and Host of Clever, an award-winning podcast spotlighting the people shaping design and culture. Through her studio, Devers Endeavors, she produces storytelling-driven media like Clever Confidential and the Emerging Designers Showcase. Devers also teaches at RISD and is a frequent speaker, juror, and lecturer worldwide.
Lee Broom
Lee Broom is one of the UK’s leading product designers and a globally recognised design brand. Since founding his studio in 2007 Lee Broom has created over 100 lighting, furniture and accessories, all designed by Lee himself and retailed around the world. Merging craft, materiality and innovation, all products are Made in Britain by hand at the Lee Broom factory in East London. Known for his conceptual and dynamic exhibitions, Lee Broom has established a reputation for creating surreal, experiential presentations that constantly surprise and engage. The brand’s signature blend of classicism and modernity has earned over 40 prestigious awards, including British Designer of the Year and The Queen’s Award for Enterprise, presented by Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Daniel Germani
After earning his architecture degree in his country of Argentina, Daniel spent almost a decade in Europe working in various creative and entrepreneurial endeavors. His multidisciplinary design studio – which specializes in product design, design consultancy, interior design and architectural renovation – is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Beyond his time in Phoenix, Daniel travels the world doing collaborative design work with leading global brands, including his role as the Creative Director for Danver, Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens and Trex Outdoor Kitchens. He has lectured and led workshops at various international design fairs, as well as sitting on juries for assorted international design competitions. Daniel’s work has been exhibited worldwide and has been awarded numerous international design awards for his highly innovative design projects, which range across furniture, architectural products and accessories. His practice’s unique position within both American and European design culture has given the studio worldwide recognition. Daniel’s aesthetic is influenced by the Bauhaus, Oscar Neimeyer, Le Corbusier, Mies and Frank Lloyd Wright, and the studio’s philosophy is simple: good design should always be honest and inspiring.
