During NYCxDESIGN, ICFF and AvroKO presented Form and Feeling, a special exhibition at Host on Howard which took place from May 15–19, co-curated by Julia Haney Montanez, Program Curator of ICFF Look Book 2026.
Form and Feeling brought together a group of North American independent design studios exploring the relationship between contemporary form and traditional materiality. Noble materials – stone, wood, paper, ceramic, and glass – reimagined through unexpected shapes, between the crafted and the conceptual.
Presented at Host on Howard, AvroKO’s gallery and gathering space dedicated to the intersection of hospitality, art, and design, the exhibition invited visitors to experience these works in a setting made for conversation and discovery.
Part of Look Book Offsite, Form and Feeling extended the spirit of ICFF beyond the fairgrounds and into the city.
The exhibition featured the works of 16 invited designers, including Cuff Studio, Ian Love, Kate Dannessa, Coil + Drift, Vy Voi, Thomas Yang, and Simon Johns.
