Danver is returning to ICFF with three newly imagined products debuted on the heels of the luxury kitchen producer’s recent rebranding. On view will be the sleek Ascento kitchen; the student-designed Beyond concept; and the fresh Primitive color story developed with top outdoor fabric producer Sunbrella

On top of that, Danver creative director Daniel Germani will open the fair on an optimistic note by leading the “Rethinking the Art of Living Through Thoughtful Design” panel. Held on Sunday, May 18 at 11:30, the discussion will also bring together Sunbrella Creative Director Esther Chang, and French product designer Noe Duchaufour-Lawrance.

Denoted by its pared back yet iridescent appearance and curved corners, the Germani-designed Ascento outdoor kitchen line is an effective study in minimalism. This is especially true when it comes to the system’s proportioning: a taller body that maximizes storage.

Cleverly configured handles angle up for the better ease of use but fully integrate into the sophisticated design. There’s no superfluous detail here. Instead, there’s a succinct implementation of form following function and form aiding function. The curved ends match up seamlessly with the drawer panel doors.

“Ascento’s minimalist design with integrated handles strikes the perfect balance, and we’re excited to showcase its simple yet stunning aesthetic,” said Germani. “The added suite of accessories are all about giving customers more ways to customize their kitchens.”

In his capacity as an professor—teaching at Milan’s Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), Germani was also instrumental in identifying and acquiring a student-developed concept with market potential.

Estelle Van De Winckle and Magdalena Herra conceived the Beyond prototype with nature and the underlying value of traditional, if constantly reinterpreted, applied arts in mind. Much like Ascento, this concept deftly merges function and aesthetics. The pair drew inspiration from both the ambiance that can be attained by fully immersing oneself in the great outdoors and industrial expertise.

“When I first began my work as a visiting professor at lED four years ago, I immediately recognized what an incredible opportunity it would be for Danver to get a glimpse of how our industry’s future talents could envision the evolution of outdoor design,” says Germani.

“Reaping the results of a collaboration that has crossed the ocean in the name of design—based on a strong commitment by our students, the lED faculty, and the exceptional mentor Daniel Germani—is a source of great pride for us,” says Giacomo Bertolazzi, Head of IED Milano’s design school. “It’s not a given that a company of Danver’s significance would concretely invest in a thesis project, actively steering its development and bringing it to industry.”

Last but certainly not least in Danver’s dynamic offering at this year’s ICFF is its transdisciplinary collaboration with outdoor textile giant Sunbrella. Together, the complimentary brands devised three intuitively formulated colorways—carrying across fabrics and paints—that stem from their shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Dubed Primitive, this color story—incorporating the Deep Earth, Misty Forest, and Frozen Lake variants—reflects the growing need to imbue our environments with balanced beauty; a concept also central to the “Rethinking the Art of Living Through Thoughtful Design” panel.

While Beyond will undergo further refinement and release in 2027, Primitive will be available within both manufacturer’s gamut this year. Ascento will be available to the U.S. market in 2026.
