Post Company stands out by delivering utility in aesthetically compelling packages. The multifaceted Brooklyn interior architecture firm’s comprehensive, tailor-made approach—applied to everything from picturesque Hamptons residences to historically cued hotels in Aspen—carries through from overall concept to the most minute of details. Whether demonstrated in era-transportative bistros or materially rich wooden lamps, holistic designs converge as multiple scales of intervention. Regardless of size and scope, each Post Company project is conceived as a total work of art, expressed in everything from the master plan to the finish of a decorative fixture. Little is left to chance. It’s no different for the design of this year’s ICFF Bespoke Salon exhibit.

Returning for its third edition, the Bespoke feature at ICFF will yet again showcase atelier artisans—companies and individuals—specialized in everything from unique surface treatments to age-old ornamental techniques. At its center, the Bespoke Salon is being mounted in partnership with Hospitality Design magazine and will be sponsored by Portuguese rug brand Ferreira de Sá, among other boutique producers.

To best highlight the diverse range of savoir-faire on offer, Post Company is designing an experiential environment based on a fictional yet plausible narrative. Firm partner Leigh Salem shares more.

“The concept for the 2026 Bespoke Salon is rooted in the idea of the bespoke as an antidote to mass production and digital sameness,” he says. “We conceived the salon as the residence of an archivist—a space that elevates and celebrates one-off objects, artisanship, and craft, while bringing together the contemporary and the antique, new partnerships and longstanding collaborations.”

This cleverly imagined repository of high craft will feel residential but through a hospitality lens, a dynamic, cross-typological approach gaining popularity these days. “The Bespoke Salon will present exhibitors within a lived-in, residential setting, rather than a conventional fair display,” Salem adds. “By organizing the salon as a series of intimate gathering spaces, the design encourages visitors to experience pieces as part of a cohesive environment.”

The installation will be organized into two primary rooms—the Living Room and the Dining Room—divided by soft, porous thresholds and textural drapery. Overhead, a series of floating ceiling panels will form as a rhythmic canopy delimiting the salon space from the larger fair. While the Living Room will feature flexible seating arrangements changed according to different programming—talks and client meetings—the Dining Room will contain an oversized communal table surrounded by architectural seating and expressive lighting. The overall scheme will reinforce the salon as a place for conversation, exchange, and shared experience distinct from the broader show floor.

“The Bespoke Salon reflects Post Company’s focus on artisanship, material character, and environments that balance residential comfort with hospitality-minded functionality,” Salem concludes. “The design will embody our approach to creating spaces that feel warm, thoughtful, and welcoming, where careful composition and material richness shape how people gather and connect. The project will allow us to present our work through a more experiential lens.”
