Creative DirectorILANZJoanie Jochamowitz is a Peruvian-American industrial designer whose work explores the meeting point between geological material and contemporary form. After building a career in experience and innovation design, she founded ILANZ as a return to material practice—focusing on volcanic stone, natural fibers, and handcrafted processes rooted in Peru. Her objects translate natural materials into a global design language, balancing weight and softness, permanence and tactility. Each piece is conceived as an architectural presence: functional, sculptural, and deeply connected to origin. Through ILANZ, Joanie explores how craft can evolve beyond tradition into a contemporary forms.
