Interni Magazine Lounge
The INTERNI Magazine Lounge at ICFF 2026 is an immersive installation designed by Francesca Portesine of SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill). The concept centers on light as both structure and atmosphere, defining space without traditional walls while shaping how visitors experience the environment.
Rather than relying on physical boundaries, the lounge uses light as a modular framework, allowing furnishings and elements to appear almost suspended. Pieces by Porro and Molteni&C contribute to this residential mood, while the lighting draws from the Tetras installation originally developed by SOM for Artemide.
Together, these elements create a space where light becomes the primary building material. Light organizes form, guides movement, and sets the tone for a contemplative, design-forward experience.
The companies that supported the exhibit include Artemide, Calligaris, Flor, Molteni&C, Porro.
