Joseph P. Sgambati III

With professional degrees in architecture and journalism, Joseph has a desire to make living beautifully accessible. His work seeks to enrich the lives of others with visual communication and storytelling through design. The New York-based writer has also contributed to exhibitions hosted by the AIA New York’s Center for Architecture and Architectural Digest, and recently published essays and collage illustrations with Proseterity, a literary publication.

John Edelman

John Edelman is a globally recognized design industry leader with over 30 years of experience in executive and ownership roles, known for his values-driven approach of “doing well by doing good.” He currently serves as President of North & South America for Haworth Lifestyle and remains closely involved with Heller as Creative Director after previously leading the company as CEO and President. Edelman has played a key role in shaping and growing iconic brands, including revitalizing Design Within Reach and expanding Edelman Leather into a global luxury name before its sale to Knoll. His career is marked by a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and authentic design. Beyond his executive roles, he is active in industry leadership, serving on multiple boards and as President of Be Original Americas. Edelman has received numerous honors, including an honorary doctorate from the New York School of Interior Design and the Larry Kravet Design Industry Leadership Award. His work continues to influence the global design landscape through brand building, strategic leadership, and a deep passion for the industry.

Ed Bakos

With over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality and restaurant design, Ed’s collaborations with high-profile clients on complex, award-winning projects have positioned him as a leading figure in the design industry. Working closely with clients and the studio’s design teams, he has shaped architectural space in support of the creation and evolution of luxury brands. While at Champalimaud Design, Ed has led the design of many notable hospitality and restaurant projects, including the award-winning renovation of the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, Badrutt’s Palace in St Moritz, the Halekulani Okinawa, and the new Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Naples, Florida.

Eugeni Quitllet

Born in Barcelona in 1972, Eugeni Quitllet is a visionary Catalan designer who has become a leading force in contemporary industrial design. Often described as a “Renaissance man from the future,” he masterfully synthesizes form and function with a signature sinuous elegance to create international best-sellers. Operating from his creative hubs in both Barcelona and New York, he brings a global perspective to his diverse practice that extends from individual objects to entire spaces. For Quitllet, the future is a vibrant state of imagination where design serves to bring the non-existent to life. By blending industrial precision with a sculptural soul, he consistently shapes new realities that feel both innovative and timeless. His work remains a testament to the power of creativity in building a more beautiful and inspired tomorrow
