FounderJessica Gersten Design

Following a decade-plus career in fashion, Jessica Gersten launched her eponymous interior design studio, Jessica Gersten Design, in 2008, fulfilling a long-standing vision of creating what she has coined the complete lifestyle. Jessica’s design studio specializes in bespoke interior design, architecture, and furniture and lighting design.

From ground-up builds to full-scale renovations, JGD brings deep expertise in delivering boutique residential projects within the luxury market. The studio works with a trusted network of specialized vendors, fabricators, galleries, artists, and artisans to bring each client’s vision to life- providing clear briefs at every stage of the project and attending to every level of detail, from conception and development through completion, including lifestyle imagery and a personalized sensibility. The craftsmanship is tangible on every level of the design experience.

Defined by an earthy yet contemporary aesthetic, JGD designs with a focus on multisensory experience - layering neutral palettes, a variety of textures, complementary materials, sculptural silhouettes, and timeless detailing. The result is a collection of spaces and collectible works that comprise a cohesive, continuous narrative of harmony and grace with a dash of whimsy and irony. Based in New York City, the studio works on projects across North America, from the Hamptons to Long Island, New Jersey to Alabama, and Colorado to California, and is quickly expanding internationally. A range of JGD’s collectible designs are available at STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN. At the heart of JGD is an ever-growing network of partners, clients, and collaborators.
