Creative DirectorStudio Lani

Lani Adeoye is an award-winning designer and the founder of Studio-Lani, a multidisciplinary practice spanning sculpture, lighting, and furniture. Her work is guided by the belief that design holds the power to unite people and foster meaningful human connection.

Rooted in a hybrid-crafts approach, her practice blends the rhythmic warmth of her Nigerian heritage with time-honored craftsmanship, viewed through a future-facing lens. Lani combines conscious experimentation with a deep sensitivity to form and material research, resulting in unexpected pieces defined by an enigmatic elegance.

At the core of her practice is a celebration of the human touch transforming deeply held values into objects that resonate both emotionally and tactilely.

Her work has been acquired by leading museums and cultural institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Vitra Design Museum, Studio Museum in Harlem, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and Die Neue Sammlung. In 2022, she received first prize at Milan’s SaloneSatellite: Designing for Our Future Selves for RemX, an asymmetric walker praised for merging “elegance and dignity in a useful object for all.”

Lani has collaborated with brands including Barovier & Toso, Diageo, Rockwell Group, Microsoft, and Google. She also teaches at Parsons School of Design - The New School.
