Anna Casotti
Anna Casotti Senior editor for magazines dedicated to design, architecture, and lifestyle, Anna was Editor-in-Chief and Director of MODO, an Italian magazine founded by Alessandro Mendini. She curated the book “Progettare il futuro. Il disegno della materia”, in addition to het academic experiences as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Architecture at La Sapienza University in Rome and as a Subject Expert at the Politecnico di Milano. After moving from Milan to Manhattan, she began contributing to the web magazine La Voce di New York, where she launched the column “Design Instinct”, as well as to La Repubblica and other publications focused on design culture. Anna is currently NYC Contributor for IFDM magazine and Senior Editor for POSH magazine.
Anna Fixsen
Anna Fixsen is a Brooklyn-based editor and journalist with 13 years of experience reporting on architecture, design, and the way we live. Before joining the Wallpaper* team as the U.S. Editor, she was the Deputy Digital Editor of ELLE DECOR, where she oversaw all facets of the magazine’s digital footprint. In addition to editing articles and developing digital strategy for U.S. audiences, she covers the most exciting developments across interiors, buildings, cities, and culture. Since graduating from Columbia Journalism School, she’s been an editor at Architectural Digest, Metropolis, and Architectural Record and has written for outlets including the New York Times, Dwell, and more.
Antonella Boisi
Architect and professional journalist, she is editor of the Architecture section for Interni magazine. Since 1990 she has contributed to numerous special projects for the magazine, such as the monographs Brazil, Mexico, Expo 2020 Dubai, Japan. Ambassador for the launch of Interni Thailand in 2014 and Interni China in 2015, she wrote the texts for the volume Living in Sydney for Taschen in 2001 and the volume Urban Interiors4 in Italy for L’Archivolto editions in 2004.
Deborah Martin
Deborah L. Martin is a 35–year veteran of the magazine publishing industry. In 1996, she became one of Hearst Magazine’s youngest managing editors, for House Beautiful magazine. In 2005, she formed her own custom publishing firm, MM Publishing Inc., creating and publishing magazines for luxury hotels such as The Hotel Bel–Air in Los Angeles. She has also been the Director of Editorial Operations at GreenGale Publishing, the Executive Managing Editor for New York Spaces, and the Editor-in-Chief of Downtown Magazine. Currently the Director of Custom Publishing for Aspire One Communications, Martin is the founding editor in chief of Design NYC and Design Chicago. She also serves as the editor in chief of Women Create.
Diana Budds
Diana Budds is a writer, editor, and critic interested in how design reveals stories about history, culture, and policy. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Fast Company, Wallpaper, and Curbed, among other publications.
Leslie Clagett
Leslie Clagett is a long-time design journalist with a specialty – and a passion – for the people and products in the kitchen and bath sector. Before joining KBB, she held senior editorial positions at both consumer and trade publications, including Kitchens & Baths and Arts & Architecture. The founder of kbculture.com, her work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Consumer Reports, Ellé Decor, Interior Design, San Francisco Chronicle and The New York Times.
Suzanne Ennis
Suzanne Ennis is a senior associate editor at Houzz, the leading platform for home design and remodeling, which empowers industry professionals and their clients with its Houzz Pro all-in-one project management and design software. She regularly attends trade events and engages with top-rated residential construction and design professionals on Houzz to report on all aspects of the industry. Before joining Houzz, Ennis served as an editor at several leading lifestyle publications, where she shaped content that blends style and culture.
Suzanne LaGasa
Suzanne is a graphic designer living in Brooklyn, New York. In 2020 she re-joined Dwell Magazine as creative director. Suzanne first cut her teeth in magazine layout as a junior designer at Dwell in 2006, shortly after studying design at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Later as a book designer at Chronicle Books and as an art director at Martha Stewart, Suzanne collaborated closely with exceptional photographers and illustrators. Consistent in Suzanne’s work is a keen use of color, perspicuous typography and an optimistic perspective. In her current role, Suzanne revitalized Dwell’s brand system to usher a warmer, more welcoming era. She is deeply interested in the ways different lives shape architecture, and how design can have a positive impact.
Kelly Pau
Kelly is the Design Editor at The Architect’s Newspaper and AN Interior where she focuses on covering interior architecture, product design, and AN’s awards program. Previously, she covered design and architecture across product, interior, and other typologies at COOL HUNTING. She’s won a Ceramics of Italy Journalism Award Honorable Mention for her coverage on ceramic tile trends in the design industry.
Chandler Pibl
Chandler Pibl is the interiors market editor at Modern Luxury Interiors. Based in New York City with a background in both print and digital media, Chandler identifies and reports on emerging trends, key players and significant launches in the luxury interiors world. Chandler is most excited about design that is equal parts beautiful and functional, keeping sustainability and longevity top of mind.
Alissa Ponchione
After graduating from Ohio University with a degree in journalism, Alissa Ponchione received her master’s in literature from American University in Washington, DC in 2009. She has held editor roles at Nightclub & Bar magazine and Hotel News Now, both based in Cleveland, before moving to New York in 2014, where she landed a job at Hospitality Design magazine as associate editor. Since then, she has worked her way up to executive editor, and for the past 11 years, has helped guide the editorial direction of the magazine and website. Additionally, Alissa has also been instrumental in organizing HD’s signature events, including the HD Awards, Wave of the Future, and HD Expo + Conference.
Will Speros
Will Speros is a freelance writer and journalist focused on architecture, design, and sustainability. His bylines can be found in Architectural Digest, AD Pro, Metropolis, Hospitality Design, and the newly relaunched Workplace Design by Contract. He lives in Brooklyn.
Rebecca Thienes
Rebecca Thienes is the Market Director at Interior Design Magazine. A Brooklyn-based market editor, design consultant, project manager, and writer with extensive knowledge of the latest interior design and architecture products. She studied interior design at Parsons The New School for Design.
Jaxson Stone
Jaxson Stone (they/them) is a Florida-raised, Brooklyn-based writer, editor, and educator. They joined METROPOLIS nearly seven years ago as a print editorial intern and are now Associate Editor and Researcher, covering sustainable, equitable design—from earthen architecture to neurodiversity. Jax also teaches in the BFA and MFA interior design programs at The Parsons School of Constructed Environments, leading courses in capstone research, writing labs, and design theory. Their work has appeared in Hyperallergic, The Architect’s Newspaper, Crafts, TASTE, and more. When not writing or teaching, they enjoy reading and relaxing with their cat, Prancer.
Julie Taraska
Julie Taraska is a writer and strategist specializing in product design and sustainability. She’s written for nearly every major design publication in the U.S., U.K., and Canada as well as worked for architecture firms, trade shows, and design-trend consultancies. A former editor at Metropolis and Architectural Record, she now also heads Content Needs Context, a messaging and content-strategy company that helps design brands find their voice.
