Intimate like a written letter. Paper was created to lift expressive artwork from two dimensions into three. A drawing is then experienced in new and unexpected ways.

Maybe more impressive is the process developed to release the art from the page. The folded drawing acts as a mold. Every crinkle is preserved in the mold-making process. A cast is made from inside, allowing the graphite lines to embed into the finished piece. The exterior paper mold is cracked away piece by piece. The drawing that initiated the process is revealed, transformed into a functional object, artistry intact.
