Daybed by Block Shop Textiles
Inspired by the tented daybeds of Bar Palladio, Block Shop Textiles constructed this canopy daybed using their forthcoming collection of hand block printed pansy fabric with extra-wide power blue piping. They took their cues from Joe Brainard’s pansy paintings of the late 60s in a psychedelic Warhol palette for the pattern. The daybed comes with delightfully oversized bolsters, and is crowned with four charming hand painted finials. They built it as the pièces de résistance of their installation at ICFF.
