Melin Tregwynt, a working woolen mill has been owned by the same family since 1912 and celebrates its centenary this year.
Traditional Welsh weaves are transformed with beautiful color and innovative modern design. Melin Tregwynt cushions, blankets and throws can be found in hip hotels and design-led stores worldwide. They believe that good design is all about getting the details right and have always tried to make things that are useful, beautiful and a little bit special.
They offer clients own label and customized designs in short runs and in 2008 entered the Guinness Book of Records for weaving the world’s largest picnic blanket.They celebrated their centenary inn 2012 and they are currently working projects with the Tate Gallery, the V&A Museum and Heals.
