CP Lighting has been producing modern sustainable light fixtures since 1990. Working in the gray area between art, craft and design, principal Christopher Poehlmann has developed an international reputation for his innovative styles and processes. His work is absolutely design driven but typically casts post-consumer materials in a new light, stating that "recycled components should add value but not be obvious in the final product". Being on the forefront of the sustainable design movement with the introduction of CP Lighting's recycled acrylic lamps at the ICFF back in 1994, Poehlmann continues to innovate and lead trends such as the current love for modern rustic which Poehlmann helped pioneer with his brushed aluminum newGROWTH series introduced at the ICFF in 2005 and going even stronger today.
